Patrick Endorsed by Texas Restaurant Association
“…a tireless advocate for business by helping to lower taxes, reduce burdensome regulations and create a climate of opportunity for all Texans.”
HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed by the Texas Restaurant Association. In making the endorsement, Richie Jackson, CEO, Texas Restaurant Association, said:
“The Texas Restaurant Association PAC is proud to endorse Dan Patrick for reelection as Texas’ Lieutenant Governor. He has proven himself to be a tireless advocate for business by helping to lower taxes, reduce burdensome regulations and create a climate of opportunity for all Texans. The restaurant and food service industry currently accounts for 10% of our state’s employment and by 2027 that figure is expected to rise to 16.3%. We need strong leadership like Patrick’s to manage and continue this growth.”
“I am very proud to earn the endorsement of the Texas Restaurant Association and their hard-working members,” said Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.
The Texas Restaurant Association (TRA) is the leading business association for Texas’ $52.4 billion foodservice industry, which spans over 43,000 locations throughout the state, employing a workforce of 1.2 million – 12% of the state’s employment.
