Vaccination facts

Getting a COVID-19 vaccination developed in record time was a miracle. Before Operation Warp Speed, the left-wing media insisted it could be months, or even years, before a vaccine was developed.  But now, two vaccines are here and others are on the way.

Yesterday I wrote a letter to the Texas Expert Vaccination Allocation Panel (EVAP) suggesting they make some changes in the way they are getting the vaccines to Texans.  People deserve that facts and they need to know when they can reasonably expect to be vaccinated.  You can read the letter here.

There have been several news stories about what I am calling for.  You can read a couple of them here  and here.

I spoke with Shannon Bream on Fox News @ Night last Thursday about the future of the Republican Party, among other things. You can watch that interview here.

Did you see this outrageous story?

In case you missed this national news story, this is how Democrats treat those who provide them with security – one day they are essential, the next day they were cast aside.  5,000 National Guard troops who protected the U.S. Capitol this week were ordered out of a legislative office building and sent to a parking garage where they remained for hours with no heat or Internet and only one restroom.

Recall that when the Texas Guard was called to protect the Texas Capitol during protests last year, we opened the Capitol building so they could rest inside on carpeted floors instead of concrete, we provided meals, water and fresh socks and were grateful to those who put their lives on the line to keep us and our communities safe.  I slept in my office for nights, making sure they were cared for.  I gave lots of tours of my office to hundreds of DPS Troopers and Guard members.

There’s a different standard in Washington, D.C.

Please continue to keep our state and our nation in your prayers during these challenging times.  Pray for the families who have lost loved ones to coronavirus and for our heroic health care workers. And, as always, keep our brave law enforcement officers in your prayers. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.

Sincerely,

Dan Patrick
