The stakes have never been higher

I was on Fox News @Night with Shannon Bream on Wednesday talking about record early voter turnout in Texas, as well as the tragic shooting of Houston Police Sgt. Harold Preston, who was killed in the line of duty last week.  Click here to watch.

The Stakes have never been higher

After Joe Biden said in last Thursday’s debate that he wants to “transition away from the oil industry,” President Donald J. Trump looked directly at the camera and said, “are you listening, Texas?”

We are listening.  Texas leads the nation in oil and gas production.  We have made all of America energy independent, and now Joe Biden wants to shut it down.  The oil and gas industry provides millions of jobs in Texas and pumps billions into our economy, and Biden wants to destroy it.

Biden’s policies aren’t just bad for the oil and gas industry. A report by the Hoover Institute released last week predicts Biden’s tax policies will result in a 3% reduction in full-time workers – 4.9 million fewer people will have a job.  They also estimate that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will drop by 8% and median household income will shrink by $6,500.

Biden’s high tax and increased regulation policies will devastate Texas and America.  In this election, the stakes have never been higher.

MAGA Rally in West Texas

Charlie Kirk’s West Texas MAGA Rally was terrific. I got there early and shot a quick video.  Check out the enthusiasm. West Texans are clearly ready for four more years of President Trump.

Lubbock Area Republican Women’s Luncheon

I was in Lubbock last week to speak at the Lubbock Area Republican Women’s Luncheon.  Great to see so many old friends and meet some new ones.  Got a great selfie!

Touring the Texas Tech Experimental Sciences Building

I visited Texas Tech last week for a tour of the Texas Tech Experimental Sciences Building. Their University Health Sciences Center is nationally recognized for its innovative programs.  It was great to see the terrific things Tech is doing for health care around Texas and the world.

The Final Countdown Has Begun – VOTE NOW

Friday, October 30th is the LAST DAY to VOTE EARLY in Texas. That means you have FIVE DAYS LEFT to cast your ballot early before Election Day on Tuesday, November 3rd.  I encourage you to vote now and not wait until Election Day when the lines are sure to be very long.  We need every Republican to cast their ballot.  Grab your friends and family, make a plan to vote early and head to the polls.

America has come too far under President Trump to allow the socialist, left-leaning Democrats to ruin our progress. We cannot let it happen. There is too much at stake.

VOTE EARLY. VOTE RIGHT. VOTE RED. Click here to learn more.

Please continue to keep our state and our nation in your prayers. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones to coronavirus and for our heroic health care workers. And, as always, keep our brave law enforcement officers in your prayers. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.

Sincerely,
Dan Patrick
