2 Fallen Officers in McAllen
Sadly, we lost two brave police officers in McAllen yesterday. I will have much more to say about our law enforcement heroes and this heart-breaking tragedy in the coming days, but please continue to keep the families of Officers Edelmiro Garza and Ismael Chavez in your prayers. Now, more than ever, we must #BackTheBlue.
On Tuesday — July 7th, we marked the solemn anniversary of the tragic loss of five law enforcement officers who were fatally shot in Dallas back in 2016. I took the lead in establishing Fallen Officer Day to make sure we never forget the sacrifice of our law enforcement officers who have laid down their lives to protect our communities.

Run-Off Election Day is Tuesday!
I took my grandkids with me to vote early in Montgomery on Monday. Don’t forget…Election Day for the Primary Runoff Election is Tuesday, July 14th. If you haven’t voted already, be sure to get out and vote so we can keep Texas RED in November. You can click here to find your polling place.
