Regular session ends, border crisis continues

I was on Fox News @Night with Shannon Bream on Friday talking about the huge number of children that are currently crossing the border – another humanitarian crisis created by the Biden administration.  We cannot imagine how this would happen, but a party like the Democrats who are so callous about abortion, certainly don’t care about the tragedy of these children that are in harm’s way and dying along the border.  You can watch the interview here.

The End of the Regular Session – What is Coming Next

I joined Rick Roberts on NewsTalk 820 WBAP out of Dallas-Fort Worth on Wednesday morning to discuss the ending to the Texas Legislative Session — including the fact that the House killed SB 7 – the Election Integrity Bill.  Click here to listen.

Chaos Continues Along the Border

My friend Laura Ingraham has noted that even the mainstream media has been forced to admit that we have a crisis at the border.  I spoke with her about it last week.  In case you missed it, click here to watch.

I sat down with Dana Loesch on her program this past week to talk about our historic success in passing Constitutional Carry this session.  Our bill will serve as a national model.  Watch the interview here.

In Texas, We Have Stopped the Teaching of Critical Race Theory

Did you see this? Virginia parents speaking out against critical race theory learning in classrooms are facing retaliation. But in Texas, we won’t be bullied by the radical left.

Texans roundly reject the ‘woke’ philosophies that espouse that one race or sex is better than another and that someone, by virtue of their race or sex, is innately racist, oppressive or sexist. These abhorrent concepts have erupted in our culture in an effort to divide us. Unfortunately, they are cropping up in Texas classrooms, even in elementary schools. But not anymore. I am so proud that the Texas Senate worked together to pass the Critical Race Theory Ban, House Bill 3929, to ensure this misinformation does not show up in our school curriculums statewide.

Revving up for 2022

It was great to be back in Montgomery County last week where I spoke at the North Shore Republican Women’s monthly dinner. I was proud to provide some legislative updates and join the women in recognizing their scholarship recipient for 2021, Frankie Watson. To quote Frankie, “The most honorable part of being a Republican is knowing that we, as a political group, stand for the freedom of our people and give respect to those who served our country. The best feeling in the world is holding my hand over my heart and standing in silence with respect to honor those who fight for our very way of life… It’s great being a Republican!” Couldn’t have said it better myself!

Please continue to keep our state and our nation in your prayers. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.

Sincerely,

Dan Patrick
