I won’t back down from the fight for property tax relief for everyday Texans. That’s why the Senate and I have not stopped working.
The Senate and I are committed to delivering the biggest property tax relief package ever to 5.7 million Texas homeowners. With a homestead exemption and compression, the Senate plan saves the average homeowner $1200 – $1450 every year and is permanent. The House plan tax cut is only $740 and is not permanent. I will not stop fighting for Texas homeowners.
