President Trump: The Lt. Dan Interview
You can catch Lt. Dan wherever you get your podcasts, at www.ltdan.com, or on my YouTube channel. If you enjoy it, please subscribe and share it with a friend.
We’ve had some great guests on Lt. Dan, but this one is the biggest of them all. I sat down with President Donald J. Trump for a wide-ranging conversation about Texas, the 2026 elections, Iran, the economy, religious liberty, and the future of the Republican Party.
President Trump also took me back to June 2015 and revealed how close he came to signing another five-year deal for The Apprentice before making the decision that changed American politics forever. We also discuss why Texas will be critical to the 2026 elections and the issues facing our country today.

Camp Mystic:
Heaven’s 27
One year after the devastating Camp Mystic flood that claimed the lives of 27 young girls, I sat down with two fathers who lost their daughters to discuss the tragedy and what must change. We talked about the families whose lives are forever shattered, the legislation passed in Texas to improve camp safety, and their mission to make summer camps safer for children across America.

ICYMI: My Rural Texas Bus Tour Is Back
In 2022, I traveled to 133 cities across rural Texas. Now, we’re back on the road!
Last week, we kicked off our bus tour in Vernon and made our way through North Texas, stopping in communities from Wichita Falls and Nocona to Weatherford, Decatur, Gainesville, Sherman, and Greenville.
I love getting out across this state, meeting Texans, hearing what’s on their minds, and seeing firsthand what makes rural Texas so special.
We’re just getting started. I hope to see you on the trail when I visit your hometown.

Republicans Are Fired Up in Denton County

Last week, I joined more than 600 Republicans in Denton County for their Let Freedom Ring Dinner. It was a great night to come together with friends and leaders from across the county and talk about the future of our party and our country.

I was joined by my dear friend and Vice Chair of the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty, Dr. Ben Carson, and Prestonwood Pastor Jack Graham, who spoke on a panel about faith and the role it continues to play in our country.

Congressman Brandon Gill and Senator Brent Hagenbuch
Congressman Brandon Gill and Senator Brent Hagenbuch, R-Denton, also joined us for the evening. It was an incredible turnout and a reminder of the strength and enthusiasm we have across Texas.
Tarrant County, Let’s Get to Work

Leigh Wambsganss is running for SD-9

Wednesday evening, I was in Fort Worth supporting Leigh Wambsganss. Tarrant County needs a strong conservative voice in the Texas Senate, and Leigh is the right person for the job. I’m proud to stand with her; I need her in the Texas Senate.
Meeting with the Llano County GOP

Thursday, I spent some time speaking with Llano County GOP members. I discussed issues facing rural Texas and the need to make sure Republicans vote in droves to elect GOP candidates up and down the ballot and defeat the leftists led by radical James Talarico.
The crowd was energized and ready to defeat the Democrats in November!

I saw my friend Mayes Middleton, who’s running for Attorney General, at the GOP event in Llano
A Special Evening at the Mason County Republican Event

Before I went home, I made a stop in Mason to speak with Mason County GOP members. I was joined by several local officials and those running for office. Mason County has one of the highest voter turnout percentages across the state.
Mason County is eager to keep Texas red!
Thank you for all your support over the years and for everything you do to keep Texas red. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.
Sincerely,

Dan Patrick
Lieutenant Governor of Texas
