Patrick Endorsed by Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA)
“It would be hard to imagine how any elected official could have been more supportive of law enforcement…”

HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed by the Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA). In making the endorsement TMPA President James Babb said:

“TMPA is proud to endorse Lt. Governor Dan Patrick in his bid for re-election. It would be hard to imagine how any elected official could possibly have been more supportive of law enforcement and public safety than Governor Patrick has been. His door has always been open, and he has always been willing to listen to our concerns and issues. Someone once said you can pretend to care but you cannot pretend to show up. Dan Patrick consistently shows up.”

“There isn’t a day that goes by that I am not thankful for the men and women in blue. I am humbled to have earned the support of so many police officers across the state,” said Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.

Lt. Governor Patrick is an outspoken supporter of law enforcement. This year he successfully passed an initiative that ensures that every police officer on patrol in Texas has a bullet proof vest that is capable of withstanding a high caliber rifle shot.
