Patrick Endorsed by Texas Apartment Association

“In particular, we appreciate Lt. Governor Patrick’s leadership to reform our state’s property tax system.”

HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed by the Texas Apartment Association’s political action committee. In making the endorsement, Jackie Rhone, President, Texas Apartment Association, said:

“The Texas Apartment Association Political Action Committee is proud to endorse Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick for re-election. In particular, we appreciate Lieutenant Governor Patrick’s leadership to reform our state’s property tax system. Providing better training for appraisal review board members, requiring more transparency for local debt and providing additional accountability to voters will benefit homeowners, renters, and commercial property owners.

“We also appreciate Lieutenant Governor Patrick’s work to protect the state’s economic climate through job growth, limited government regulation, and common sense leadership.”

“I will continue to fight for the taxpayer and to put an end to out-of-control property taxes. I appreciate the support of the Texas Apartment Association and its members,” said Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.

The Texas Apartment Association is a non-profit statewide trade association that provides advocacy, education, and communication for the Texas rental housing industry. The organization serves rental professionals, including property owners, builders, developers, property management firms and service providers.
