Patrick Endorsed by National Rifle Association (NRA-PVF)

“… a lengthy and proven record of support for the Second Amendment…”

HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF). In making the endorsement NRA-PVF Chairman Chris W. Cox said:

“On behalf of NRA’s Political Victory Fund and our members in the Lone Star State, I am pleased to announce your A+ rating and endorsement for the 2018 election cycle. Your endorsement is a reflection of your lengthy and proven record of support for the Second Amendment and our hunting heritage, and your rating is the highest an incumbent can achieve.

“Your strong commitment to law-abiding Texans’ right to self-defense has been demonstrated by your office prioritizing and overseeing the passage of landmark NRA-backed open carry, campus carry and license to carry fee reduction legislation. Additionally, your support for the important role that hunters and sportsmen play in wildlife conservation efforts was critical to legislative passage of a constitutional amendment in 2015, placing Proposition 6 on the Ballot to be overwhelmingly adopted by voters.”

“Texans know I am a proud supporter of the Second Amendment and I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the NRA-PVF. I will continue to work hard to ensure these rights are protected,” said Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.
