Dan Patrick Endorsed by Dallas Police Association
“There is no stronger advocate for police officers than Lt. Governor Patrick.”

HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed by the Dallas Police Officer’s Political Action Committee (DPOPAC). In making the endorsement, Michael Mata, President of the Dallas Police Association, said:

“When it comes to supporting law enforcement and making sure we have the tools we need to protect Texans, there is no stronger advocate for police officers than Lt. Governor Dan Patrick. He is always responsive on both a legislative policy level and a personal level to the needs of law enforcement and their families. As dangerous anti-police zealots continue to threaten our safety, we need more leaders like Lt. Governor Patrick and are proud to endorse his reelection.”

Founded in 1959, the Dallas Police Association (DPA) is the oldest and largest police employee organization in Dallas, with over 4,000 active and retired members.
