Medical Groups Endorse Lt. Governor Dan Patrick for Re-Election
HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed by four medical associations in his bid for re-election, including EYE-PAC (Texas Ophthalmological Association), THCAPAC (Texas Health Care Association PAC), TPMAPAC (Texas Podiatric Medical Association PAC), and the TSAPAC (Texas Society of Anesthesiologists PAC). Here’s what their leadership is saying:
“The TSAPAC is honored to endorse Dan Patrick for another four years as Lieutenant Governor of Texas. Governor Patrick provides strong, conservative leadership in the Texas Senate which supports our physicians and hospitals in providing not only world-renowned medical centers but also the highest quality care for our rural citizens. The TSAPAC is the political arm of the Texas Society of Anesthesiologist which represents over 3,700 physician anesthesiologists, residents and anesthesiologist assistants in Texas providing critical care for Texans when every second counts. Governor Patrick understands and supports that mission which is why we are proud to support him,” said Dr. John S. Scott, chairman of Texas Society of Anesthesiologists Political Action Committee.
“Lt. Governor Patrick understands the role our seniors have played in making Texas great. He is committed to helping our state’s long-term care providers ensure they have the resources necessary to provide the care senior Texans deserve,” said Kevin Warren, President and CEO, Texas Health Care Association.
“The Texas Podiatric Medical PAC appreciates the support Governor Patrick has given to podiatrists in Texas. He has been a champion for healthcare initiatives including diabetes prevention and cure to improve the lives of all Texans affected by diabetes. We endorse Governor Patrick and look forward to continuing to work with him to continue to improve the healthcare for Texas citizens,” said Don Canada, TPMA Executive Director.
