Lt. Governor Dan Patrick Endorsed by Texas Chemical Council

HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed for re-election by the Texas Chemical Council.

“Lt. Governor Patrick has been a stalwart for Texas business and industry. He brings a common-sense approach to state government by focusing on pro-business policies to keep Texas globally competitive,” said Hector L. Rivero, President & CEO of the Texas Chemical Council. “The Texas Chemical Council is proud to endorse him for re-election.”

“The Texas chemical industry has seen unprecedented growth capitalizing on our state’s shale gas economy. Our industry’s growth hinges on a skilled workforce to build, operate and maintain new manufacturing facilities. Lt. Governor Patrick championed education reforms to meet the workforce needs of Texas employers, create jobs and grow our economy.”

“Lt. Governor Patrick is committed to providing tax relief to Texas taxpayers and tearing down regulatory barriers that hinder economic development. We are proud to endorse and support Dan Patrick as our Lt. Governor,” Rivero concluded.

The Texas Chemical Council (TCC) is a statewide trade association of chemical manufacturing facilities in Texas. TCC represents 70 member companies who operate over 200 manufacturing and research facilities across the state.
