Lt. Governor Dan Patrick Endorsed by Texans for Fiscal Responsibility
“A champion for taxpayers”
HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed for re-election by Texans for Fiscal Responsibility. In making the endorsement, Michael Quinn Sullivan, President, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility said:
“During his time as lieutenant governor, Dan Patrick has proven to be a champion for taxpayers and delivered on the promises he made to Texans. He’s fought to reduce the state’s skyrocketing property taxes and shrink the state business tax. He’s advanced a conservative agenda to limit government, and he reformed the Senate’s rules to help pass conservative legislation that strengthens the state spending limit, ends the automatic collection of labor union dues, and eliminates sanctuary cities. Dan Patrick has been on the frontlines in every fight to advance the conservative agenda and Texans for Fiscal Responsibility is proud to endorse him in his re-election campaign.”
“I will continue to lead the fight for property tax reform so that homeowners across the state can keep more of their hard-earned money. The Texas Senate will keep working to shrink the business tax so industries across the state can grow their workforce.” said Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.
Texans for Fiscal Responsibility was formed in 2006, and is an advocate for financial responsibility and conservative principles in state government.
