Lt. Governor Dan Patrick Earns Support from Permian Basin Petroleum Association
“Governor Patrick has been a tireless advocate for the men and women that live, work, and raise their families in the Permian Basin.”
HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has the support of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association (PBPA). Permian Basin Petroleum Association President Ben Shepperd said:
“Governor Patrick has been a tireless advocate for the men and women that live, work, and raise their families in the Permian Basin. His steadfast leadership and consistent travels to West Texas have helped promote our energy and infrastructure needs that together produce an economy that makes Texas the envy of the nation and the world.”
The Permian Basin Petroleum Association was formed in 1961 by a group of local business leaders concerned about the federal government’s growing regulatory role. The PBPA has grown from fewer than twenty members to more than 1,000 member companies.
