A Turning Point for Texas

I’m honored to have Turning Point Action’s endorsement. I am committed to seeing a Club America and Turning Point USA chapter on every Texas high school and college campus. I have contributed $1 million from my campaign and helped raise several million dollars more. My friend Charlie Kirk’s voice and words will never fade.
Honored to Earn Mark Levin’s Endorsement Live On-Air
I joined Mark Levin, one of my favorite Fox hosts, on his radio show Monday night. He surprised me with his endorsement live on the air. It’s a great honor to have his support. Click here to listen to the interview.
We Must Come Together as One United Texas Republican Party
After the primaries and runoff elections are decided, we must come together as one united Texas Republican Party. Democrats lost Texas a couple of decades ago because their party split in several directions. We cannot and must not allow that to happen to our party in 2026.
I joined Mark Davis on the air Monday morning to discuss. Click here to listen.
Politics on Valentine’s Day…A Perfect Match

I was honored to give the keynote at the Brazoria County Lincoln Reagan Day Dinner last Saturday. It was a huge crowd. Politics on Valentine’s Day, it’s a great combo!
The Largest School Choice Program in American History Has Been a Resounding Success
On February 4, we launched the largest school choice plan in history for 100,000 students. This is a plan I’ve worked on for a decade because I knew parents wanted the freedom to choose the right school for their child.
On Monday, our new school choice program surpassed 100,000 applications!
The largest school choice program launch in American history has been a resounding success. Texas parents clearly want the freedom to send their children to the schools of their choice.
You can apply anytime, 24/7, through March 17. Visit educationfreedom.texas.gov to learn more.
Remembering Robert Duvall

Robert Duvall passed away on Sunday. He was 95. One of his first movies was a small part in To Kill a Mockingbird as Boo. He had other small parts in many big movies. He played a cab driver in Steve McQueen’s Bullitt.
He gave this famous line in Apocalypse Now: “I love the smell of napalm in the morning.”
In time, he moved to major roles in The Godfather, Days of Thunder, True Grit, Joe Kidd, The Natural, Open Range, and won an Academy Award for Tender Mercies. I loved Secondhand Lions, a great family movie.
But for me, he’ll always be remembered for playing “Gus” McCrae in Lonesome Dove. That was his favorite role.
I met him on several occasions and had a chance to talk about movies and politics. He was down to earth, very approachable, and just a nice guy.
In this photo, from early 2016, he told me he guaranteed Donald Trump would be elected President. He was a staunch conservative. I remember the conversation like it was yesterday.
God rest in peace, “Gus.”
Thank you for all your support over the years and for everything you do to keep Texas red. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.
Sincerely,

Dan Patrick
Lieutenant Governor of Texas
