“As Senate Education Chair, I passed some of the biggest reforms in decades to improve Texas schools,” said Dan Patrick.
“Throughout his entire legislative career, Senator Patrick has fought to keep Common Core out of Texas and empower parents and students with school choice,” said Alejandro Garcia, Patrick Campaign Communications Director. “By providing school flexibility for our children, you create quality education and a brighter future for Texas.
“Washington’s policies have no place in Texas and neither does Van de Putte’s out of touch support for the federal government running our schools. Van de Putte’s liberal views and misguided proposals are wrong for Texas.
“Senator Patrick will provide true leadership based on Texans’ needs, not outsiders. As Lieutenant Governor he will make sure our children are adequately prepared for their future by providing better schools,” Garcia concluded.
