Dan Patrick Endorsed by National Border Patrol Council
“He has worked tirelessly to secure the border and keep Texans safe.”

HOUSTON, TX – Texas Lieutenant Governor and conservative Republican candidate for re-election, Dan Patrick, announced today that he has been endorsed for re-election by the National Border Patrol Council (NPBC).

In making the endorsement, Brandon Judd, NPBC National President, said:

“The National Border Patrol Council is proud to endorse Lt. Governor Dan Patrick for re-election. He has worked tirelessly to secure the border and keep Texans safe. Lt. Governor Patrick increased border funding more than any Lt. Governor in history. This year alone, he approved nearly 4 billion dollars for border security, and he played an integral role in starting the construction of the border wall in Texas. In 2017, Lt. Governor Patrick banned sanctuary cities in Texas. He has remained a strong supporter of law enforcement, and he has continued to give them the tools they need to help assist our members to protect Texas and America to the very best of their ability. In a time when states are being overrun with crime, Lt. Governor Patrick has worked to ensure Texas is one of the safest states in the U.S. for our children and our families. Texans deserve the best elected officials and there is no stronger candidate for Lt. Governor than Dan Patrick. We support him in his efforts to help secure the border and protect this great nation.”

Lt. Governor Patrick issued the following statement:

“I am proud to have the endorsement of the National Border Patrol Council. Our Border Patrol agents are working endlessly day and night to secure a border that has been abandoned by the Biden administration. A weak border puts our communities at risk. With the apprehension of 14 illegal immigrants on the terror watchlist last year, our border is being exploited by suspected terrorists. I will always fight for stronger border security and will continue to stand with our brave Border Patrol agents.”
