HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed by the Independent Bankers Association. In making the endorsement, Steve Scurlock, Director of Government Relations and Public Policy at IBAT, said:
“Dan Patrick has been a steadfast supporter of community banking throughout his career in public service. Whether in rural, suburban or urban settings, community banks are the primary driver of small business lending and job creation and serve as a catalyst for economic activity and growth. The Independent Bankers Association of Texas appreciates Governor Patrick’s leadership and we are pleased to provide our endorsement to him for another term as Lt. Governor of Texas.”
