“His record fighting for property tax reform stands for itself.”

HOUSTON, TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced today that he has been endorsed by the Houston Region Business Coalition (HRBC). In making the endorsement, HRBC Chairman Alan Hassenflu said:

“The Houston Region Business Coalition is proud to endorse incumbent Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick as he seeks reelection in the March 2022 Republican Primary. Our organization has been a longtime supporter of the Lieutenant Governor and he continues to align with HRBC’s mission that supports capitalism and limited government. His record fighting for property tax reform stands for itself, and we believe that he will ensure that Texas and the Houston region continue to thrive.”

Known as Houston’s premier business coalition, HRBC hosts public forums which allow elected officials and candidates to learn more about the businesses they represent. The mission of HRBC is to support public policy, elected officials and candidates for elected office that promote their core values of limited government, capitalism and private property rights.

To receive an endorsement from HRBC, candidates must receive a two-thirds majority of Trustee votes. No money was accepted from candidates in HRBC’s endorsement process.
