On Thursday, I was waiting to appear on Fox Business Channel’s Varney & Co just as President Donald Trump announced his Historic Peace Agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates — something no politician has been able to accomplish — certainly not Obama and Joe Biden. I also talked about America’s team — the Dallas Cowboys. If you missed our email about the show the other day, you can still watch the clip here.
It was great joining Rick Roberts on WBAP Radio in Dallas on Tuesday afternoon. We talked about President Trump’s Executive Orders and the negotiations with Congress. You can click here to listen.
Austin City Council to Cut Police Budget by a Third
Austin City Council’s decision to cut $150 million from the Austin Police Department’s budget is a threat to public safety. The brave men and women of our law enforcement put their lives on the line daily, and this decision by the Austin City Council facilitates lawlessness and puts the APD at greater risk. It is outrageous.
Let Beto Speak!
Apparently, some Texas Democrats are upset that there are no Texans speaking at their national convention next week. They have started pushing organizers to let Beto make a speech. It may surprise you, but I think they are right. A speech by Beto reminding Texans of his promise to take away our guns — not to mention his renewed push for the job-killing Green New Deal this week — is a great idea! It will remind Texans what the Democrats stand for and help us run up the score for Trump in Texas.
Keep America Great — Texas Trump Victory Events in Your Community
The Joe Biden/Kamala Harris socialist, pro-abortion, anti-gun, big tax, green new deal, no fracking agenda would be an end to the America we know and love. Texans will reject it and vote to Keep America Great. Here are some events in your community to help re-elect President Trump. Get involved and find a Trump Victory campaign event near you this week!
Please continue to keep our state and our nation in your prayers. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones to coronavirus and for our heroic health care workers. And, as always, keep our law enforcement officers in your prayers. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.
Sincerely,
Dan Patrick
Lieutenant Governor of Texas
