A busy week traveling across Texas!

Today, I released 57 interim charges that reflect issues that Texans have asked us to study. Our 31 senators submitted hundreds of ideas, with many senators sharing similar proposals. My staff and I worked diligently for weeks to review each request, and this is the first set of interim charges I am releasing in preparation for the 89th Legislature. We may release a second shorter list of additional charges before next session. You can read more about them here. Here is a list of all 57 charges for the Senate.

I spent the week traveling around the state talking to Texans about their concerns for Texas and America, future policies, and how important the upcoming election is for the survival of our country and the American Dream.

Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute (TCCRI) 2024 Policy Forum in Austin

I was in Austin last week, where I spoke at TCCRI’s Annual Policy Forum. TCCRI is an organization focused on advancing our conservative values and keeping our state the economic beacon it is today.

Pastor Prayer Summit at Second Baptist Church

I was in Houston on Monday at Second Baptist Church for a panel discussion and prayer luncheon. I had great fellowship with great people. We focused on the major issues confronting Texas and America and the importance of church members to be involved.

Speaking at Grace Woodlands

After full days in Houston on Monday and Dallas-Fort Worth on Tuesday, I got back to speak at Grace Woodlands Church on Wednesday. My longtime friend, Pastor Steve Riggle, asked me to speak on the church family’s 90th anniversary. I love speaking with a little preaching and testimony whenever possible. They pack it out on Wednesday nights.

Speaking with Local Business and Civic Leaders at the Metroplex Civic and Business Association Luncheon

Back on Tuesday, I spoke with local business and civic leaders at the Metroplex Civic and Business Association’s luncheon in Dallas about the policies important to Texas and America.

A Fundraising Event with Manny Ramirez

Later on Tuesday, I attended a fundraising event supporting Manny Ramirez, whom I endorsed for Tarrant County Commissioner in 2022. He is a former police officer, businessman, strong Christian, and a proven conservative leader.

Thank you all for your support and everything you do to keep Texas red. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.
